In Remembrance of Christian R. Malmgren

Christian R. Malmgren
July 7, 1935 - May 11, 2023

It is with heavy but faith filled hearts that we announce that one of our beloved founders, Christian R. Malmgren, returned home on May 11, 2023.

It was 1974 that Christian and Angela Malmgren answered the call, purchased property on Milltown Road, moved in with their four young children, and began a 42 year journey as Co-Directors of Jesus House Prayer and Renewal Center. Together they created a refuge and a haven of healing, peace, love, prayer, faith and joy!

All who knew Chris were blessed by his kindness, his wonderful sense of humor and his genuine care for everyone he met! He lived with the love of Christ and was a light in the world for all to see. May Angie and his family be comforted through our prayers, the wonderful memories that they shared and with the knowledge that they will be together again in heaven!

“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
