Optional Centering Prayer Workshop Follow-Up Sessions 2 of 7

THE GIFT SEMINAR is a personal invitation to all Christians to prepare for a “Personal Pentecost;” a new release or revitalization of the Spirit’s presence in our lives. Many of us received the GIFT of the Holy Spirit in Baptism and Confirmation. The Question is: Did you fully open that GIFT?

THE GIFT SEMINAR IS A SIX SESSION RESPONSE TO THIS QUESTION.

The DVD presentations will be offered by gifted speakers, covering topics such as The Father’s Loving Plan, The Joy of the Gospel, New Life, Opening the Gift, A Personal Pentecost, and Living in the Spirit.

It will also include time for Dialogue in small groups with designated facilitators. Each participant will also receive a folder to take home with daily reflections and other information on the themes presented each week.

The Seminar will begin on Friday, September 20 and continue for 6 weeks at Resurrection Parish located at 3000 Videre Drive, Skyline Ridge, Wilmington, DE 19808. Resurrection Parish is located off Linden Hill Road between Polly Drummond Road and Limestone Road.

“Introduction” to Centering Prayer Workshop given by Bev Roberts

This Introduction to Centering Prayer Workshop is for those new to Centering Prayer as well as those who already practice this Prayer.  Practicing Centering Prayer allows us to open to God's presence and action not only during the prayer period, but also during the activities of everyday life.  It offers an approachable way of deepening intimacy with God and increasing one's capacity to live a fully Christian life.

We welcome teens and adults of all ages to this workshop.

In addition to the Workshop on October 19th, there will be six optional weekly follow-up sessions at Jesus House Chapel 2501 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808 on Wednesday evenings, October 23rd - November 27th from 7-8pm.
