      Let this Consciousness Be in You: The Cosmic Christ Fills Every Nook and Cranny of the Cosmos! Christ is the radiant light of God’s glory and the perfect copy of God’s nature, sustaining the universe by God’s powerful command.” Hebrews 1:3
      This retreat day invites us to ponder the meaning of the Cosmic Christ for our life and spirituality. We’ll explore the 13.7 billion year journey of the cosmos through viewing the film Story of the Universe. Then we’ll comtemplate Christ, “the One who is not far from any of us, the One in whom we live and move and have our being.” As we come to know the Cosmic Christ, we will awaken to the presence of Divinity everywhere and realize that we are called to radiate this Presence, this Light, in our world.
      Retreat Leader: Liz Sweeney, SSJ. Mass is celebrated at 12:15pm. Cost is $35 before 5/21 or $40 at the door, which includes lunch.

  • June 20-24, 2012 | Welcoming Prayer Retreat
     The Welcoming Prayer retreat is offered by Contemplative Outreach.  The purpose of the Welcoming Prayer is to deepen our relationship with God through consenting to God’s presence and action in the ordinary activities of daily life. The Welcoming Prayer helps to dismantle the emotional programs of the false-self system and to heal the wounds of a lifetime by addressing them where they are stored—in the body. In this way, the Welcoming Prayer complements the dynamic of Centering Prayer in the rest of the day.  Therese Saulnier, will be our retread leader.  Cost is $280 for a semi-private room or $380 for a private room.  There is a $75 non-refundable deposit.   • July 27-29, 2012 | Spirituality for the Second Half of Life
    Paula D’Arcy began giving workshops and conferences on the “Two halves of Spirituality” in the early part of the last decade.  She came to realize that too much emphasis is placed on the tasks of the first half of life.  “The Second Half of Life is not a matter of having more elevated thoughts, but of a different reality–the movement into actual embodiment of faith.”  –Paula D’Arcy (excerpt from November 2010 issue of “Radical Grace”.) Paula D’Arcy is a writer, playwright, retreat leader and conference and seminar speaker. She will be our retreat leader.  Cost is $240 for overnight guest or $190 for guests who wish to commute.  There is a $75 non-refundable deposit.   • August 10-19, 2012 | Contemplative Outreach Post-Intensive Retreat
    Provides an opportunity for intensive Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, solitude and silence in community.  Prior Centering Prayer Retreat experience necessary.  The retreat is lead by Father Bill Sheehan, OMI and Therese Saulnier of Contemplative Outreach.  Cost is $680 for a semi-private room or $880 for a private room.  There is a $100 non-refundable deposit.
