Tuesday, December 6 from 10:30am-noon
Come and meet Juan Diego (as portrayed by Marie Gormley-Tarleton) at the Nazareth conference center. Pope John Paul II called Our Lady of Guadalupe “The Mother of all America.” In anticipation of the December 12th feast day of Our Lady, Marie Gormley-Tarleton will tell the story of Juan Diego, the indigenous Mexican man to whom Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared in 1531. We will begin with coffee and refreshments, followed by the dramatic presentation.
Marie wears hats of many colors. She is a dramatic storyteller for children and adults. She is a religious, literary, and historical impersonator. She is an educator, an actress, and a student always. “I try to introduce the new and make the already-known new.”
Mass will follow @ 12:15 p.m. Cost $ 20. Please Register by July 20 by calling our office: 302-995-6859 or send check to Jesus House, 2501 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
